Lyndale

‘Lyndale’ offers an indulgent perspective from which an audience can experience the traditional medium of photography through a complete reimagining. By embracing in the production of my work, the very technologies that fuel the age of digital dematerialisation of the image, I provide a site of transgression: subverting these destructive processes to instead enhance the materiality of the photograph. The work challenges conventional craft techniques concerned with functionality, and instead explores the relationship between the physicality of the photograph and represented familiarity of memory in a contemporary fine art context. © Grazyna D-Redrup 2010 All Rights Reserved.
